3D Artist - Intern

Toggl's vision is to bring awe-inspiring magical worlds to people’s living rooms - and everywhere else! We're rendering these immersive worlds via augmented reality and making them readily accessible via mobile phones.

While technology is very important in achieving this, the art is really what will make the users fall in love with these worlds.

That's why we need a rockstar 3D Artist intern who is a real Swiss Army knife to join the Toggl team! You will take existing assets and make necessary modifications to prepare them for use in a real-time game engine which will render them in augmented reality. These assets can range from structures and props to rigged characters.

You will:

  • Optimize scene hierarchies, poly-count, textures, file formats from a wide variety of asset sources for our Unity rendering engine

  • Export assets through the pipeline all the way to production for use in a real-time environment

  • Work closely with experienced 3D Artists and support them in 3D content creation

  • Perform in-engine tests in Unity for the revised assets and ensure they work as intended

You ideally have:

  • Experience working as a 3D artist on a stylish real-time product (ideally games)

  • Experience with 3D software (eg. Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, etc.)

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop/GIMP

  • Ability to create production quality 3D assets and stylized textures

  • Passion for the future of immersive content through augmented reality

We're looking for a rockstar intern to join us in our Seattle office for 2 months to start and we'll evaluate the relationship at the end of that time.
