Toggl's vision is to bring awe-inspiring magical worlds to people’s living rooms - and everywhere else! We're rendering these immersive worlds via augmented reality and making them readily accessible via mobile phones.

While technology is very important in achieving this, the magical experiences themselves is really what will make the users fall in love with these worlds.

That's why we need a world-class Unity Developer who is a real Swiss Army knife to join the Toggl team! You will create self contained Unity scenes that will be rendered as augmented reality experiences. These experiences can range from linear and non-interactive to realtime multiplayer games.

We have a framework for these Unity scenes to render them in AR and add real-time networking to them. Your job will be to solely develop these Unity scenes - no AR or networking knowledge is required (although it is a bonus).

You will:

  • Create self contained AR experiences based on specs from the content team

  • Work closely with 3D Artists to import assets and animations and making sure they “pop” in-engine

  • Support the development of visual concepts and ideas

  • Support the content/game development process from A to Z

  • Rapidly prototype ideas

  • Write clean, maintainable C# code and maintain the Unity scene hierarchies in a structured, organized manner

You ideally have:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Unity developer on small to medium sized teams for 3D projects targeting iOS and Android

  • Deep knowledge of shaders, lighting and materials in context of Unity

  • Knowledge of Unity’s build system and integration with a native iOS application

  • Experience with asset pipelines

  • Experience working with character animation

  • Ability to fill in the gaps for animation and VFX

  • Passion for the future of immersive content through augmented reality

We're ideally looking for someone to join us in our Seattle office for 2 months to start and we'll evaluate the relationship at the end of that time. We're open to having someone join the team remotely if they have an impressive background and have done some amazing past work.

More than anything, you should be excited to define the the future of immersion and entertainment! If this sounds like you, shoot us an email at jobs@togglar.com - or use the form below:
